Chasing the Cyclone

Big Bang Book Moment.

I decided to right this book while flying a helicopter over the Marlborough Sound and its hundreds of lush islands located between the north and south islands of New Zealand during the time I was chasing the cyclone of international parental child abduction. It was here, with my son, somewhere at 2000 feet above sea level that I truly realized just how magical life is no matter how difficult the moment is - and for me - at that time, it was reuniting with my son, who had been abducted under the rules of international law.

Did You Know?

That it only took me 7 weeks to write the 130,000 word Chasing The Cyclone.

Where I Wrote

Chasing The Cyclone was written in a variety of places including the Los Angeles' James Reardon Central Library and the New York City Central Library on 5th Avenue. Of course, like each of my books visits to The Pelican Inn in Muir Woods, Butler Library at Columbia, the beer halls at the University of Wisconsin at Madison, and Paradise Cove in Malibu played their parts, as too did my homes in Los Angeles in New York.
