WAR ON WALL STREET

Big Bang Book Moment.

When I heard of my first cancer diagnosis, I realized that the odds of me beating this were not very good. And it was there in the hospital, while looking at my physician who was holding my MRI report that I decided that one day soon I would write a novel. Funny, many people say that this is something they want to do, but it takes great discipline. Having conquered cancer after multiple fights ... I learned something about discipline ... and I learned how to write.
WHY I WROTE THIS BOOK
At that time in my life, I was diagnosed with a serious form of cancer and my physicians did not know if I was going to make it. After being diagnosed for the second time, and knowing that I was going to have a child, I wanted to leave my child something beside the material niceties that I was going to in the event I was to die. So, I wrote War On Wall Street. What I did not know was that writing this book kept me alive. You see, each day I got up with a purpose - and that was to keep writing. While I did, I was also willing myself to get stronger so I could finish this novel because I was so desperate to complete this book for my child - who turned out to be a beautiful little boy who I love dearly! So you see, writing really did save my life.

Where I Wrote

I started writing this book in between two oak trees situated in northern California's wine country. Then later, at the New York Public Library, the Brooklyn Public Library, Paradise Cove Beach in Malibu, and my home in New York.
